There are two questions that we believe students should be able to answer each day in school.  We call these Critical Questions:
1. What are we learning today? – Students must be active participants in their learning process.
2. What does this have to do with my life? – Understanding relevance is a key to true learning.  Students should be able to connect their curriculum content to everyday life and future goals.  This is done in such a way that academic requirements are met and surpassed and students are able to connect their lessons to real world application.  We have created the following workshops to address these areas:
1)  Expecting Excellence and Getting Results:  The Proven Process
In a 3-5 day process, educational leaders and teachers are taken through a process that produces the types of student achievement results that teachers and students deserve.  Results from implementation of the process in various school settings across the country are shared and discussed.  After a thorough analysis of the student achievement data and organizational structure (material and personnel resources) of the school is completed and recommendations are made, teachers are taken through a process that identifies and targets deficient concepts, while creating an instructional framework that breads collaboration, mastery and success.  The following are the steps involved in the process:

      - Data and Organizational Analysis (DOA)
      - Learning Cycles
      - Practice Testing
      - Instructional Calendars

2)  Becoming Masters
These workshops are designed to enhance the teaching skills of teachers in the content areas of Math, Social Studies, Science and Writing.   The goal of each workshop is for teachers to walk away with a cadre of strategies that will assist them to more actively engage students in the learning process.   These workshops are directed by master teachers in each of these areas who have achieved dramatic student achievement results due to their teaching techniques.  All workshops are highly engaging and interactive and call on educators to not only raise the standards for their students, but of themselves as well.
